Tuition Payment Plan and Policies

Please read the following before submitting payment to Crystal Vocal Arts.

A cappella is a rewarding yet difficult artform which demands a lot of its singers. This fact is exacerbated when working with a small group of 20 or less. There will be instances where singers are the only voice on their part, giving that singer an immense amount of responsibility. Therefore, attendance is of the utmost importance to grow as a community and as a performing force. Below, I've listed expectations for attendance and attitude, which have been put in place to set the bar for what we hope to accomplish this season. By submitting payment to Crystal Vocal Arts, both the student/guardian(s) agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

1. You may withdraw from the Crystal Vocal Arts Season by October 16th for a full refund (either the payment-in-full or what you have paid through the payment plan).

2. If you withdraw after October 16th, there are no refunds. You will be expected to complete payment for the season if the weekly/bi-weekly payment plan was selected.

3. When you know you will miss a rehearsal, you must inform the director at least 2 weeks before the rehearsal date (does not include emergencies).

4. If you miss 2 rehearsals without any notice (barring extreme emergencies), this will be considered grounds for dismissal from the Crystal Vocal Arts season with no refund of cost.

5. If you miss 5 rehearsals for any reason you will be dismissed from the Crystal Vocal Arts season with no refund of cost.

6. When you miss a rehearsal, you are expected to practice at home to catch up on what was missed. Notes will be given after rehearsal to inform all of what was worked on.

7. Attendance for the Crystal Vocal Arts showcase is mandatory. 

8. We will select a style theme for our performance attire, the cost of which will be reasonable, and the responsibility of each member. 

9. Any intolerance/bullying/hate speech/negative behavior from students or guardian(s) will be grounds for immediate dismissal from the Crystal Vocal Arts season with no refunds.

10. The music must always come first, per the discretion of the Director. This means that not everyone is guaranteed a solo. Feelings of disappointment are expected and natural, but neither you nor the guardian(s) may take it out on the director or anyone in the group.
